Leadership
The people behind the work.
Lincoln is led by operators who have run campaigns at the highest level, on multiple continents — and who remain hands-on in the work.
Nathan Sproul
Founder & Managing Director
Nathan Sproul founded Lincoln Strategy Group in 2003 and serves as Managing Director, leading day-to-day operations and acting as the firm's chief public representative. Over more than two decades he has built a base of over a thousand client organizations across all fifty states and dozens of countries, holding senior roles in five presidential campaigns and in gubernatorial, senatorial, and congressional races across the country. A contributing author to Fortune, The Hill, and other national publications and a frequent commentator on national news, he was named Entrepreneur of the Year for Small Business at the Stevie Awards. He is based in Arizona.

His presidential experience includes two campaigns for Mitt Romney and the 2020 campaign of Kanye West; he has also worked gubernatorial and senatorial races, held senior roles with national and state party organizations, and run corporate issue-advocacy campaigns for Fortune 500 companies — work reaching across thirty-eight states and eleven countries. He has managed as many as 593 field operatives and overseen campaign budgets totaling more than $173 million. In 2017 the American Association of Political Consultants named him one of its 40 Under 40. He contributes to US News & World Report.
